I'm trying to use the Fade Tool on a Software Instrument Track, and it's not working: rather than applying a fade it just drags the track, like the Pointer Tool. There's probably an easy fix for this, but so far I haven't managed to figure it out AFAIK, fade tools are operative only on audio regions. Software instrument tracks are populated by MIDI regions. Bouncing-in-place the Software instrument /11156.txt would convert same into audio type one, which can then be edited with the fade tool.

If you intend to apply volume changes on Software Instrument track's MIDI regions, you could use the volume automation instead of using the fade tool. That way you would not have to convert the Software Instrument track's regions into audio ones. LogicPro Question: if I change the software instrument to an audio channel, will I still be able to use the instrument as before? Changing the audio type won't prevent me from using logic pro x fade tool midi free instrument, will it?

Not at the studio to check in details the outcome, but once bounced-in-place, logic pro x fade tool midi free Software Instrument could definitely be used again, ifnot on по этой ссылке same track, at least on an adjacent one, and both could play along simultaneously. I have never used the fade tool before. I have been trying to get it to work and am having no luck. When I have the fade tool selected and hover over a region the fade tool changes to either a loop, resize or regular pointer. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, please. I am trying to use the tool on a MIDI region,. My new Logic Pro Book is out! Dead right!!

Obviously you can't - just wishful thinking and a brain clouded by too much composing. Changing midi velocity will work on some patches.. This may or may not give you the desired effect depending instrument.. Some instruments velocity changes, result in guitar harmonics, slides, scratches etc.. It all depends on that particular instrument.
